Participants will explore a wide range of contraceptive options, including combined oral contraceptives, progestogen-only pills, and long-acting reversible contraceptives like IUDs and implants. The unit also addresses emergency contraception, its effectiveness, and safety profiles. Guidance is provided on tailoring contraception plans based on the Medical Eligibility Criteria (MEC), with discussions on managing side effects and patient follow-up.

This course prepares clinicians to confidently assist patients in making informed family planning decisions.
